After the recent snow storm that dazed the Buffalo region, over 300,000 were left without power in cold winter conditions. A mad rush ensued with many stores selling out of generators and having to order more from other locations as some people bought more than one to take home to their friends and family.  The snow storm hit without much warning in early October and those lucky enough to have a generator were still with heat and electricity. Those affected and without and generator had to either suffer through till electricity was restored or try to find someplace warm.
