Honda Industrial EB5000 Generator Review

The Honda Industrial EB5000 generator offers 1200 more watts of power than the EB3800 but with pretty much the same features. A stronger 11 HP engine seems to be the major difference with a full panel GFCI, automatic voltage regulators, and other features still present. The EB5000 has other features as well which are described in the owner's manual below. This model should not be confused with the Honda Industrial EB5000i which is part of the i-Pro series®. This generator is a good option for commercial needs of up to 4500 watts. The Honda industrial EB6500 generator or Honda industrial EB11000 generator could be considered for bigger wattage options.

"I like my Honda eb5000x generator, it's got pleanty of power to power up my house (if i'm conservative) but after I store it for a year i've got to run it with the choke on full time, even after a few hours. I think maybee it's varnish in the carb. Honda should make the float bown drop off easier so it would be possible to "gumm out" the carb from the bottom end. "
