Honda Industrial EB5000i Generator Review
The Honda Industrial EB5000i generator is part of the i-Pro series® which provides portable, inverter power and "i-Monitor" technology. The i-Monitor feature
provides diagnostic and other detailed information about the generator for easy servicing and maintenance. The other technolocy present in this EB5000i is
Eco Throttle, which provides load independent operation which leads to longer run time and lower fuel consupmtion. The Honda EB5000i has many of the same features
as the other industrial models like full panel GFCI but does not have automatic voltage regulators. The Honda EB5000 has a max wattage of 5000 but is rated at 4500
watts. The generator also features a smaller fuel capacity than the EB5000. Because this generator is not compatible with any home transfer or isolation switch, the
overall value of the generator for home use is diminished greatly. The Honda industrial EB6500 generator may be a better option providing more power at a cheaper price.
