Honda Economy EG2500 Generator Review

The Honda Economy EG2500 is very similar to the EN2500 in wattage ratings, features, and even dimensions but there are some big differences. One major difference is a 1 gallon fuel capacity and a 2.9 hours run time on rated load compared to the EN2500's 2.9 gallon and 7.3 hours run time at rated load. The Honda EG2500 does have a lower sound output, a 5.5 HP overhead valve engine with automatic voltage regulators, and extra options. The EG2500 costs around $400 more than the EN2500 so it is hard to justify a few more features unless dealing with sensitive tools which require voltage regulation. The Honda Economy EG3500 and Honda Economy EG5000 offer more features and power and are better choices for varying use.
