Onan RS 15000 ReviewThe Onan RS 15000, residential standby genset, is a little better than the RS 12000. This generator is rated at 14 kW for natural gas fueled and 16 kW for liquid propane fueled. The RS 15000 comes with a 4 cylinder heavy duty Onan engine and is the only Onan generator home standby model to do so. With a higher price than the RS 20000, the better option is to go with the RS 20000 for higher wattage needs than the RS 12000. |

"Nice machine, well built but beware of service & support. You'll be waiting a while for your parts because the manufacturers branch offices do not stock anything, their service rates are astronomical and the service is less than desirable to say the least. Best yet, their service & support is virtually proprietary, so you HAVE to use them to service or repair the generator. Overall opinion - go with another brand."
