Onan RS 45000 ReviewThe Onan generator RS 45000 home standby generator is great for emergency electrical outtages. The RS 45000 is rated at 42kW for natural gas fueled and 47 kW for liquid propane fueled. The RS 45000 produces very low noise at 66.3 dB at 7 meters, comes with a 6 cylinder liquid cooled industrial Ford Engine, and has good fuel consuption. A good home standby generator for powering many applicaitons at full load. |

"This is the second home standby generator my family bought. The prior one was not strong enough to power all what we needed but this one can. We have only used it once but it provided enough wattage for everything we use daily so we are very happy with it. We also had to buy an automatic transfer switch so the generator will use the house's natural gas lines. Great generator so far for us.
