Only the southwestern section of Indiana is really a good source for flat-plate solar collectors while the rest of the state is slightly mediocre.
For concentrating collectors, solar resources are not very good either, especially in the northern part of the state. Solar power can still be harnessed but major applications
may not work as well in Indiana.
