Montana is a good source of solar power using flat-plate collectors. Most of the state provides good amount of energy with the exception of the upper
northwest section which still provides a decent amount and the lower southeast section that provides a great amount. As for concentrating collectors, Montana provides
good energy for the southeast section but the rest of the state is not as efficient. Overall, Montana is good for flat-plate collectors.
