New Jersey is a good source for flat-plate solar collectors. The southern half of the state provides an average of up to 5,000 Whr/sq m per day
while the northern half has an average up to 4,500. Concentrating collectors are not as a good a resource for New Jersey and solar power is better suited with
the flat-plate collection method.
