Flat-plate solar collectors can be used throughout the entire state of North Dakota for good amounts of energy. However, for concentrating collectors,
only a small section of the southwestern corner of the state provides a good amount of energy while the rest of the state is not as effective but still decent. Flat-plate
collectors are definitely more useful for solar power in North Dakota.
