Oklahoma is a good option for flat-plate solar collectors as most of the state provides over the 5,000 range with the panhandle area providing up
to the 6,000 level. This range allows for many applications to fully use solar power effectively and efficiently. For concentrating collectors, Oklahoma is more diverse
with 4 different sections east to west. The western sections are still good solar resources while the east sections are less efficient with concentrating collectors.
Oklahoma is still a good state for solar power use.
