Utah joins other southwestern states as a great resource for both types of solar collection methods. Flat-plate collectors in Utah provide
great amounts of energy, especially in the southern part of the state. Concentrating collectors also provide great amounts of energy in southern Utah and the
southwestern corner is an excellent source for this type of solar collection. Utah has some crazy winters but most people will find solar power can save on energy
