Washington is very diverse from poor to good. For flat-plate solar collectors, the middle area of the state is a good source and the rest ranges
from mediocre to poor. The same applies for concentrating collectors with the good resource section becoming even smaller with this collection method. Because Washington
is so diverse, different areas will see very different results with both types of solar collectors.
