Solar Power Conference 2006

The Solar Power Conference 2006 in San Jose from October 16-19 wrapped up with soem great new inventions and gadgets and a brighter look at the future of solar power and the world’s energy crisis. The conventions featured over 130 exhibitors with everything from more effective solar panels, chargers, self energizing lights, golf carts, and a solar array with the ability to power plenty of power. The also brought together some of the biggest names in the industry and those that have an effect on it including Senator Kevin Murray of California, Ed Smeloff from Sharp Electronics, and Dell Jones from Sterling Planet. There was plenty of information, ideas, and products to use in many different industries ranging from schools to corporate offices of giants like FedEx. The convention also provided many workshops for solar enthusiast including a few on solar job oppurtunities. The convention even included a drawing for a solar power golf cart from Cruise Car, Inc.
